Town of Brookline Brand Style Guide Project Proposal

Project Objective:


To craft a comprehensive brand style guide that: Establishes a unifying visual identity for the Town of Brookline. Reflects Brookline’s heritage and progressive values. Enables consistent communication across all touchpoints. Engages the community and builds pride in the town’s story.

Scope of Work


Town Seal Modernization:
Refresh the existing seal with new brand colors:
Apply the updated seal to the Police and Fire departments' patches/logos.
New Town Logo Design:
Develop a flexible logo suite (primary logo, wordmark, icon/brand mark). Brand Usage & Standards Guidelines Final logo assets, typefaces, and accessible color palettes. Usage rules distinguishing Town Seal vs. Town Logo. Templates: letterhead, email signatures, envelopes, and document formats.
Engagement: Develop a community outreach strategy (focus groups, surveys, forums). Incorporate input from staff and residents.
Deliverables: Summary Brand Style Guide (PDF + editable) Town logo suite (various formats) Updated Town Seal Templates (MS Word, Google Docs, Adobe formats) Icon and pattern library (SVG, PNG) Department logo files Community outreach materials (survey templates, slides) Accessibility compliance documentation
